Experience the beauty of Korean pottery through a hands-on class where you can draw dancheong— an art of intricate patterns and vibrant colors often used in Korean architecture. Choose one of my studio-designed small ceramics, a lidded cup set featuring traditional Dancheong patterns. Or you can choose an option to learn to craft a small ceramic piece, step by step, from raw clay to the finished piece. • Decorate a matching lid with one of your favorite dancheong patterns that is used in my art therapy program. • Sip Korean tea and enjoy the creative atmosphere of my studio. Once your small ceramic pieces are glazed and placed in the kiln, the process—from firing to cooling—can take three to seven days, depending on the schedule. The full cycle, including preparation and final unloading, typically takes two to three weeks. Note: You can arrange to pick up your finished art piece, or request overseas delivery for an additional shipping fee. Peek behind the scenes of a 40-year-old sesame oil mill, where you’ll get the chance to roast seeds yourself before enjoying the fragrant oils with Korean style small food. • After touring the mill and sipping tea, we’ll dive into the manufacturing process of sesame or perilla oils. You’ll even get a chance to wash and roast sesame (or perilla) seeds on your own. • In your first tasting, you’ll sample types of seeds paired with Korean ingredients. • As we shift to demonstrating the milking process, you’ll also get a chance to practice this step yourself. • We’ll then taste both sesame and perilla oils, including pairing them with more delicious food. We’ll end with another hands-on demo: Learning how to transfer the oil into glass bottles without spilling a drop. You’ll even get to take home a souvenir.

Exchange contact information to receive images and return to the meeting point Additional Information: -The price of the rental is about $15-20 per person and it is paid separately at the rental shop (hair styling is included with hanbok rental) -Maximum number of guests for Regular Booking is 2, so solo travelers have a chance to make a friend! -Bookings made for 2 or more guests can book a Private Group Session -For groups larger than 4, please contact the host before booking -Each guest will receive at least 80+ photos from the shoot(sent within 24hrs) and can choose 5 absolute favorites to be professionally retouched and color-graded! Hello guys! This is Tyler from YNA Language Exchange in Hongdae Our YNA Language Exchange group is a conversational platform where people from around the world can exchange languages and cultures. We use themed conversation cards to pick topics with members and discuss them in English Every 40 minutes, participants change seats to ensure everyone gets the opportunity to talk with each other We are an international group where people from all countries are welcome! Make Korean friends and learn about Korean culture! Weekday Gatherings Wed & Thu: 7 pm to 9 pm Weekend Gatherings Fri & Sat: 8 pm to 10 pm Only people between the ages of 19 - 40 may join this event. We have our regular weekly meetups on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 pm to 9 pm with 30 to 40 participants. On weekends, we meet with 80 to 100 people every Friday and Saturday from 8 pm to 10 pm After the language exchange, we have an after-party at a pub with all participants, and we hope many of you will join!
